Not going to question a pro hockey player, clearly he prefers the left side.

But I'd love to get into where on the ice he sees a difference.

From a coaching stand point the offensive zone is more of a F1, F2 and F3 thing with flexibility on the rush and the attack.

It's more about being on your offside in the defensive zone which can actually help some players (Tkachuk sees the ice better on his offside with his body open to his defenseman).

So curious what he's talking about.

My mind's eye sees him shooting and taking passes on the left side in the offensive zone regardless of where they draw up the lines.
