The annoying part is that everyone knows that him and Kadri have no chemistry, and it is not going to come. They think about the game in different languages literally and figuratively. The fact that the coaching staff thinks they can work together and forces it for the last ~40 games is absurd. Here are some reasons why those two should not be playing with each other.
- Kadri can not one time the puck, east-west one timer passes is what Huby does, if he does not have a finisher of those passes, what the point.
- Have those two connected for any type of play? I feel like Pelts and Huby had double/triple etc of plays and displays of chemistry in 10 games than Huby and Kadri in 40 games.
- Kadri is a puck hog and does not see his teammates, Huby's game is about predicting the play and finding open areas, that is hard to do when your line mate has vision of a PeeWee player. Do not get me wrong, I like Kadri but he should be playing with simpler players
- Kadri can not make a pass a quick pass and slows down the game too much in the neutral zone. Huy prefers quick transition but that is hard to do when Kadri decides to go for skate instead of making a 10-15 foot pass.
