I know they're lower leagues, but 2 points per game at any level is always impressive. Especially for a larger sample size.

Some having him going in the 15-20 range.

Perreault's stats are quite a bit better than Oliver Moore's, and Moore is supposed to be in the top 10.
Controversial statement on my part, but IMO Perreault's teammates Oliver Moore and Ryan Leonard are a little overrated (still excellent prospects), and GP is underrated. I think Moore and Leonard will slip a bit out of the top-10, and Perreault will rise. Will Smith is incredible, though.

First of all, Perrault is falsely listed at 5'10, and around 155lbs; he is actually 5'11", and over 180lbs. The USHL is falsely thought of as a secondary league, but it's considered to be a league that's hard to score in- making GP's stats pretty unreal. Perreault has 1.88 ppg in the USHL, while Coronato had 1.66. True, Perreault plays with the best talent on a Development team, but MC played with Sean Farrell, Josh Doan, Adam Fantilli, Ryan Ufko, Mackie Samoskevich, and Jackson Blake.

Gabe has vision and IQ off the charts, he's supremely creative, has elite stickhandling skill to get around opponents, and every scouting report I read lists his forechecking as a big plus. He fights his way into the hard areas and finds open space to unleash his wide array of quality shots- very gifted hands. While he's an excellent playmaker, he has a goal-scorers mentality, being a high-volume shooter with thoughtful shot-selection. He will go to the crease to deflect shots, or to make himself available for high-danger chances. He processes the game at a higher level than most of his peers. His weakness is that he needs a bit of work on his skating- which will improve a bit as he gets stronger. It's not bad, he already has good agility and edges, he just needs an extra gear when it comes to his straightline, and his acceleration. The other thing he needs is maybe a bit more attention in the defensive zone, a problem that most kids his age have. IMO, Gabe will go between 10-15.
