Despite drinking gatorade all day as prescribed, my electrolytes crashed hard and the last 2L of Colyte was hell as I had a throbbing headache and dizziness and even after taking gravol I couldn't keep the stuff down. It was like reliving a killer hangover from my drinking days. The actual colonoscopy procedure was a breeze though and I actually got an 8/10 for my prep despite the fact that I vomited up the last 2L of Colyte so I didn't come close to properly prepping as per the guide. I feel for the people that have conditions that warrant doing that frequently.

Ulcerative colitis here. Yeah, colonoscopies, they're a f-cking joy, that. Although between the Colyte for colonoscopy prep or the enema you're supposed to use to prep for a sigmoidoscopy, I'll take the Colyte. At least you're drinking it.
I wouldn't say I have to do it 'frequently', although I suppose relative to a person who doesn't have a GI condition, it would be more than typical.
