I think the only way we get a top 3 pick is if the Flames completely fall off down the stretch and we move up by winning the lottery, we're definitely overdue for some luck at the draft but I'll be expecting an 11-20 pick

I'd be happy with Yager, Cristall, Danielson, Pellikka, Wood, or Heidt. Yager's scouting reports remind me of Kyle Connor in his draft year. Apparently he's a great shooter and is very strong on the rush. Also Yager was CHL rookie of the year last year, maybe he's being ranked a bit lower than he should be? Or it's just THAT good of a draft that he'll be available around or after the 10th pick.

Would love to see another Boston esque' draft like in 2015, with a team going completely off the board to draft the big goalie or some of the defensemen before the Flames pick. Zboril, Senshyn, Debrusk instead of Kyle Connor, Barzal, Chabot.. still can't get over that.
