But if he had got to market someone (Carolina?) would have given him in the ballpark of $40 million. It's a bad contract, but it's a product of the QB desperate world we live in. I will continue to beat on this drum, but until we get a QB middle class where you can sign a Daniel Jones for the $15-20 million a year he's really worth it's going to be a league of poverty rookies and QBs on $40 million +.
And that $35 million in incentives is in addition to the $160 million, so it could be worth up to $195 million. Which, I imagine, the Giants would be fine with since he'd actually be above mid if he hit the incentives.
