Well, looks like the team decided to play hard today which is unfortunate because they really needed the win against the Wild.
Nonetheless, great debut by Nick Ritchie though. Kind of everything I saw in him with Arizona, big body, net front presence, good hands in tight spaces, some goal scoring touch around the net. Thought his power forward style once again complimented Huberdeau’s game. Secretly I had hoped Darryl would line him up with Huberdeau, but didn’t think it was going to happen with all the talk about Pelletier and Huberdeau’s chemistry, although I never really saw it.
Thought Andersson and Weegar made big impacts in the game as well. Also think Pelletier could do some good for Lindholm, he’s a skilled checking type player and I think Elias is at his best when he’s playing with similar like-minded types.
