I'm a proud Canadian and I think it's more than just the province I live in. Just to wake you up over there in Newfoundland, EVERY POLITICIAN GOES BACK ON THEIR WORD, OR BENDS A PROMISE, OR SHAFTS IT'S PEOPLE. That's nothing new. The way of dealing with it is not by tantruming and threatening the country (which a lot of people in my province could learn too).

We didn't threaten to leave Canada in any way. we were just showing our disgust for the 'Canadian Government'. one way to show that was by lowering the canadian flag at all government buildings.
