Monahan arrived for a game in Calgary on Dec. 1 wearing a plastic-boot cast on his right foot. He logged 20:08 of ice time that night and picked up two assists in a 2-1 victory over the Flames. Monahan was wearing the cast again after the game during a media scrum.
