Toffoli has more goals and points than any forward who becomes a free agent this summer, and yes, that includes players like Patrick Kane. So, if you're Don Waddell, you're just not going to find a forward via UFA who gives you what Toffoli does, and you sure as #### won't find one at $4.25m.
I'd imagine Toffoli is going to have a really solid market, simply because he's a RH winger who puts up good numbers and vastly outperforms his contract. And that's before you think about negotiating an extension or the Flames retaining salary. Now we don't know if the Flames will even want to move him, but I'd be shocked if the market weren't there to do it.
