I'm failing to understand how it gets easier to score in the NHL just because you aren't in the playoff race, they play the leafs tomorrow, leafs going to take it easy because Vancouver is out?
If NHL players find it harder to score because of pressure they need to visit the sports phycologist that every team employs.
Do you have any stats or evidence to back up this theory or you just keep saying it hoping people will accept it after time?

like are you even serious right now?
its common knowledge that teams with zero pressure often stop squeezing the sticks so tight and put up more goals when the pressure is off...they also aren't as worried about defending and winning so mistakes aren't a big deal.
Canucks do this every season, as do a bunch of teams.
Canucks have scored 4+ goals in 4 of their last 7
And yes teams with playoff spots locked up do take bottom feeders lightly...are you new?
