And honestly that's probably good that he's not desperate to make a change just out of frustration with how the season has went. Thats how you move Jokinen for Higgins and Kotalik. And Phaneuf for Ian White and Matt Stajan.

I keep saying it - the market is different but not necessarily worse at the end of the season. Plus, this team has looked very good in a lot of game but for goaltending, so it's not hard to imagine them thinking that they should stand pat, with no big re-signs necessary and a good chance of improvement if goaltneind rebounds (or Wolf arrives).

Yeah, at 2025 conditional first. And he's an $800K 25 year old player on an expiring contract who had a rough year but scored 41 points the year before. Name me a Flame who sounds like that.
