The aliens in the OT were significantly worse looking than pirate tree. It's better than lucas-grade CGI
Since they're going back to the puppet aesthetic in this series (i.e. grogu and the babus) I don't have an issue with characters looking a bit prothetic-like.
The opening 10 minutes was weak, but the rest was pretty solid
