Essentially, the video argues that Don truly think about him. Enough so that Don was threatened by Ginsberg's proposal that he threw it out and went with his own.

The scene is used as the ultimate own, and without the context, it looks that way. Don Draper, the BAMF showing he does not care about his underlings - so much so that he doesn't even think of them!

When in reality he's as emotionally fragile, insecure, and petty as the rest of us are; and which certainly brought out in the rest of the series
