Yes, we agree. Treliving has half a brain.
After the Edmonton series, you give Markstrom
half a season, then you start making phone calls. I wasn't coming down on Markstrom at all the first half of the season, but when it became clear the Flames had a problem, that's when a move should have been made. GMs with more than half a brain make proactive moves, not reactive ones. And the proactive ones tend to eat the reactive ones' lunch.
