That last second game winner is tough to take, no doubt, but hard to believe the Flames would come out on top in the shoot out with the way Ullmark was playing.
This is the kind of game that really plays with your emotions. Watching them, you think, this team can be really good and we've seen it a few times this season against some of the best teams in the league. The thing is, though, if they bring this kind of game 50% of the time against the bottom feeders in the league, the odds are they are comfortably in a playoff spot. But they didn't and good teams don't play this inconsistently and fritter away points against those teams.
It's bad goaltending, dumb plays at critical moments, inability to put away grade A chances and, yes, bad coaching (never thought I'd be saying that about Sutter).
