Yeah that probably came off a bit aggressive, but I was legitimately asking. I think there's a lot room for criticism/being upset as a fanbase right now. A lot of fans have also been clamouring for a rebuild for some time now - and while we get excited for every move, no matter how big or small - for it to all come back to a painful season like this...it leaves a lot of us sitting back with a "ugh, we've seen this so many times before" opinion on the organization.
So we then see teams that we're actively competing with (NAS, MIN, WPG) all making some level of changes for now/the future and it's like...well, at least they're doing something to try and improve themselves.
On itself, I think this trade for the Wild is silly when looking at the bigger picture. They're a bubble team and shouldn't really be spending assets just to sneak in. I imagine they feel it's worth it to give their players the playoff experience, but they aren't a contender so this pick for Johansson seems like a crazy waste to me and exactly the type of move I hope the Flames do not make.
