Our right wing depth is already atrocious, can you imagine if you didn't bring one back in the deal.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I think as long as the Flames have a strong indication from Coronato's camp that he's going to sign with the Flames and join the team as early as late this season or next season, you still go ahead and trade Toffoli for a 1st + . This draft is very forward heavy, I think you plan on taking a RW with one of the Flames first round picks in 23', I'd rather take that risk and cash in on Toffoli's strong season this year when almost everyone else has been underperforming.
Or to your point, if you can get a young RW prospect in the trade then even better, I guess I'm just really hyped about this draft.
Don't get me wrong I've really liked Toffoli this season and he's exactly what this team has needed (RW Sniper) but he's not what I would consider a core piece moving forward with his contract status and age. With all that being said I'm sure he stays for the inevitable push to make the playoffs down the stretch. He's one of Daryl's guys after all!
