Losing those two could really have the Flames tumble in the standings and increase their odds of an early pick in the draft.
Would also be nice if that gave them a chance to put Phillips in the lineup for an extended period. It would be a nice gesture by the franchise to allow him to show what he can do at this level despite the likelihood that he will take his services elsewhere next season.
