I know what you are saying but i disagree. I think you want your team to be just like the Sharks. They weren't just trying to squeak in and hoping for the anything-can-happen scenario. Sharks were legitimately a threat in the playoffs for years. It just didn't work out as you said.
Star studded line up and drafting Couture, Coyle, Hertl, Josh Norris, and Meyer as they rolled. Getting over their skis on contracts was the end.
