But why and what are you getting for him? the Flames can go ahead and tell another team they want a first back but if the other team doesn’t like it, they could just move on and talk to the Jackets about Gravikov, or the Blackhawks about McCabe, or……..
Further if the Flames do move Tanev, do they have a RHS D in the wings ready to take that spot? Not as far as I know.
