One thing to bear in mind is goalies haven’t been going for much, recently. fleury went for a 2nd, after winning the Vezina.
Considering his full NMC he’s likely going to have a pretty specific criteria he would expect/want if he were to accept a trade. The Flames would be lucky, frankly, to get any reasonable return.
I think it’s much more likely Markstrom is back next year. Vladar, given his contract, might be the more movable asset. That said, I don’t think the Flames will move him before the TDL. They will need him if they want to make the playoffs.
