Yeah, I think moving some depth guys is addition by subtraction. They are a temporary crutch. Better to get kids into these situations and see how they do and develop them. This should have turned into a development season a couple weeks ago.
It's not giving up. It's giving kids a chance to meet the same expectations - make the playoffs.
If the season rests on guys like Ritchie, Lewis, Lucic then you did it wrong. If all you get is future considerations that's still better than nothing.
