Dion, come on bud. It's not a circle jerk. You seem like such a nice and good person. Has it escaped your notice that it's generally the good, caring people who have abandoned the ucp and come around to view Notley and ANDP as a good alternative that will govern us with honesty, competence, rationality, and care?
I know you're a little older than the average poster here. You probably split the difference between me and my mom. She is planting an NDP sign on her lawn this year and voting against Conservatives for the first time in her life. I think it's okay to consider yourself a conservative, but you need to step back and recognize the ucp has abandoned you. If you vote ndp, you'll be voting in a manner consistent with your values, I'm sure of it.
If you vote ucp, you will be responsible for causing hardship and hurt for fellow Albertans. As a business owner, I'll probably come out okay, though. Have been eyeing some new patio furniture for my vacation condo, so TIA if you vote ucp, I guess. I'm definitely the guy that needs government help.
