Like I said, I'm all for them seeing what they have at one point this season. I think they should have gave him his debut last year against the Jets. Just not as a Hail Mary attempt to save the season.

Calling up Wolf doesn’t mean they expect him to lead them anywhere.
If they keep rubbing 25 and 80 out there, they assuredly will not make the playoffs.
If they start Wolf, they might.
More importantly, they’ll get valuable insight to where he’s at.
If you polled the team privately, I bet over 80% want the kid to get his shot. They saw what Oettinger did last year, they see what he’s doing every night for the Wranglers, and they KNOW with bone-deep certainty the guys on the big club can’t get it done.
Let him play.
