There have of course been situations where politicians meet dispicable people at the politician's event or some open event. For example, PP having shaken hands with the Diaglon guy.
To me, that is forgivable. These politicians can't know everyone or what they look like or potentially what these nobodies represent.
Politicians going to a political event from a MEP, that they were likely formally invited to? I call B.S. that they didn't take 5 minutes to google what they were going to.
The name of the event is literally called "What would Christine Anderson do".
I will admit, going to the event website doesn't say much. It talks alot about the freedom convoy and "freedoms" in general. Most members of the CPC have certainly thrown their hat in that ring without much blow back.
Her Wiki page is inoffensive; until you go to the political party she belongs to. There it states the party's ideology with citations. The unfortunate thing is that these politicians would 100% follow that ideology and many of their voters.
So I doubt one second these people didnt know who she was and what she represented, they chose to go. Will it effecting voting intentions in their ridings? nah.
