At large dollar figures, percentages become meaningless and actual dollars matter. I don’t know what that line is, but evaluating 10% growth for a small business vs a Loblaws sized business are massive differences and should be evaluated as such.

Loblaws isn't really a grocery business. It's also a banking, pharmacy, and cosmetics business. The largest driver of margin growth was Shoppers Drug Mart, in a pandemic recovery year
