Arguably the best trait this kid has is his competitiveness and desire to get better.
By every trackable measure he's an elite prospect at his position. He should be treated as such.

Those games had zero pressure. They pro athletes and want to be the best. I think this is the worst time to bring in a young goalie. Make him the backup next year and see if he can take the starter spot. He isn't a forward that can be benched or play limited minutes. His only way out is getting pulled if he is getting blown out.
