The irrefutable fact that McDrai have won nothing team related, including playoff awards as well as any division championships says enough about their TEAM/winning contributions
They are great individual players. They excel at it.
But I think they lean so hard into individual milestones that it comes at the expense of defensive x and o's
They're literally floating in the neutral zone all the time, and only taking brief laps in the d-zone before resetting to their perch
And that one dimensional game reflects itself in the amount of team success, which had been limited
Problem for Edmonton is no one there is going to force them to do anything different so it's entirely up to them to expand their game and help the team to win by committing in the d zone
I don't think they ever will as long as they're in edm though
