The problem with Marvel is that they are trying to plug and play new actors into their formula. Except they've also made the formula worse and more family friendly. RDJ provided actual whit and adult level conversation. That's been drained out and we have dry actors forcing out one liners and quips.

I wont say anything about Ant-Man 3 because...I havent seen it and I probably wont until it hits D+, but Black Panther 2 was pretty terri-awful.
People rank Love and Thunder worse than this? At least L&T had moments of levity and fun on occasion.
BP2 was just fundamentally bad in almost all respects.
I'll start with the acting because, unless its something egregious I dont typically like blaming actors, but this movie made it hard to tell what the real issue was.
Dont misunderstand me, I am positive the script sucked out loud, these actors were certainly not given much to work with, but they didnt do much with what they did have.
I'm not going to get into a huge diatribe about, but nothing landed in this film. Nothing. Sorry, thats not true, the tribute to T'Challa/Boseman was nice, I enjoyed that.
But even after that though...everyone in the film acted like they were at a funeral but werent sad that the person died, but they know they should be so they're over-compensating?
It was really off-putting.
Anyways, for me that was the worst Marvel movie by a long ways and probably worse than a few DC movies, just a complete, uninspiring, uninteresting mess.
