As much a some on here want to run Markstrom out of town he's not going anywhere unless he wants to. Trading Vladar is the more likely scenario.
But I said a month or two ago, I think unless Wolf steals the job from Vladar in training camp he atleast starts the season in the AHL. And really if he's as good as we think he is that's not going to hurt him. It's not want I think should happen. It's what I think the team will probably do.
As far as calling him up next season vs calling him up now goes, there's less pressure on him having him start the season vs now when the team is fighting for a spot.
That doesn't mean either he won't be called up at one point this season. Unless an injury happens I think he most likely gets called up again to end the season once the team's fate is sealed. And hopefully this time Sutter gives him a start like he should have last season.
