That is a good chunk of some very important players that have expiring contracts. Some will be re-signed but who? I know some will disagree but I think Lindholm and Hanifin should be shopped. As I have said I do not think this team can afford more $8-9M per contracts for guys who will spend the bulk of those deals in their 30’s.

Dube likely will be a 4.5-6M player on a long term deal. Kylington is a toss up right now.

Toffoli has been underpaid on his current deal and the Flames should not be the team to give him a long term contract next year. 1-2 year deal I would welcome him back but he would be an interesting sell high candidate. The same exact comments can be made about Tanev.

Backlund likely re-signs on a team friendly deal to stay in Calgary.

Big decisions and the Lindholm/Hanifin trade which was a critical win that retooled this team has the ability to do that again.
