I actually see a team playing exactly the way Sutter describes how he thinks this team can win. The only difference is our goaltending is bad. Personally I find Sutters system boring to watch .

Yes, but what’s the alternative? There’s no perfect coach out there. Do we hire yet another coach and go back to a club house atmosphere where the players have no accountability, no work ethic and no identity? What’s the lesser of 2 evils here because CP has always managed to find a way to poke holes in every coach that’s hired.
To me, the ultimate mistake was the Huberdeau trade itself which is something the GM should have to answer for. His game clashes so badly with this roster and the tight checking playoff style Sutter deploys. If I knew that Huberdeau would not be a good fit here after just a few games of analysis, how could a professional group of highly paid scouts and managers not see it? Then they go and sign this guy to an $84M deal without ever seeing him play a game here. This is turning out to be another James Neal fiasco all over again.
