I think in the end the three biggest issues for the Flames this year have been:
-Markstrom
-Huberdeau's Offensive Production (he's actually been solid defensively)
- Sutter's lack of adjustments and overall player usage going back to the Oilers series (and maybe his overall attitude at this point)
Honestly those three all share equal blame in the season this year IMO

Do you honestly think Huberdeau has been excellent defensively, or he's been on when things haven't gone poorly?
That's not being snarky, but defensive stats are line wide and I just don't see him doing all that much to break up plays, get the puck out of his own zone, or lead things in transition.
I think you need three forwards to create offensively and get expected goals up, but not sure you need all three to win on defensive metrics.
I just haven't seen it.
