What happened to frolik after that? He went to the Habs for a handful of games, then Buffalo for even fewer. And then he was done in the NHL.

That happened the following year, when the contract was ending and they could have just let it play out. When Peters started doing that in 18-19, it might have been the beginning of the downfall of that #1 in the West team. Walsh wasn't wrong to bring it up.
Frolik was arguably the best UFA contract that Tre had ever given out. The guy did nothing but show up to camp in the best shape of anybody and played hard almost every night.
Did Huberdeau really just go from an all-star to a pumpkin in one summer? I'm not going to defend his play, but there's clearly something going on with the relationship with Sutter. Walsh says this stuff when the coaches are playing mind games.
