They need to make room for Wolf to take on the Juuse Saros backup responsibilities. He's the best prospect in their system by a long shot.

I get what you’re saying but he may be ready for a fresh start, so the NMC might not be much of an issue. Even if the Flames retain 1-2 million, we’d still be further ahead rolling with Vladar and Wolf.
