Won't count Hanifin, but that's 6 players on the active roster that defy what you're saying.
They have to have an opinion on when a player is ready, and I hope each player has a unique climb (current state of the roster, their development).
May not agree with some fans for sure, but that doesn't mean they have a hard and fast rule as you suggest.
