I appreciate your passion. Your passengers will be pretty unhappy in the second row of an S3. An S5 or E coupe certainly wouldn't have less practicality, particularly if you are limiting yourself so much based on your own comfort already. May as way go full out comfort for yourself if an S3 is the practical option.
