Trading Weegar seems pretty bizarre. He also believes the Flames have had talks regarding Parayko (yuck), being involved in Chychrun talks (although not a major player), and restates Boeser+Schenn interest.

Trading Weegar this soon is definitely strange. Debrincat or Batherson would really help the Flames out offensively. Maybe Kylington is coming back? Maybe the Flames are in on Chychrun, Kylington is coming back, and they are moving Weegar to recover/attain assets for the Chychrun deal? Maybe Weegar is too short to play on Sutter's D-line and they are moving him out and bringing in Paryako.
