I’m of the mindset with Coach. Current NDEs are likely the mind in a semi conscious dream like state. Since time has no consistency in dreams could something like that occur just before death?

I do like the concept of the afterlife there just isn’t evidence of something external.

I like Matata’s concept but think it’s internal mystery that’s a fragment of evolution and consciousness that drives what is expressed as spirituality. That the external spiritual world is unlikely to exist doesn’t make the human need for spiritually any less real.
