I find the phrase "accepting of mediocrity" to be funny.
What exactly do you think fans should do instead?

Being a fan of a sports team is fun.
But bitching, whining and complaining is part of the fun (what fun there is right now) The problem is that we aren't a fun team to watch right now. The games are boring, the players are boring and maybe some people are just starting to realize what the flames are. A system built on mediocrity; with accedntal waves of flukish win streaks and coincidences.
