I am willing to say that part of my concern (personally) is visceral fat. Apologies to anyone this might offend, but you know those middle-aged guys who have hard belly that protrudes right under their ribs, but are otherwise skinny? That's exactly what I don't want. It's very unhealthy, and I see it a lot. It's something that men (and women) should be concerned about IMO.
And, like a lot of things in life, I could either do my own research and try to figure these things out or get a professional. I'm inclined to seek out a professional and get proper advice on these things, so that's the tract I want to take. I've read plenty and I get that it's "calories in, calories out" or "eat your vegetables", and if that's enough for you to be satisfied with, that's great. I want more information and more advice so I'm willing to pay for that and that's why I started this thread.
(There are also other factors and things I want to review, but I thought that I'd throw out the visceral fat in case someone else can benefit from that)
