I'd just offer two pieces of advise when picking someone.
My only advice would be make sure the dietician is not also advertising a naturopath designation, I think there is a bit of overlap in people carrying those titles. Stay away from anyone who nods to magical thinking in their job title.
I once heard dietary advice summed up as, don't eat too much and make sure it's mostly vegetables. I'd cautiously avoid anyone who is selling you something that doesn't fit squarely inside of that.
I think there is a lot of BS in Keto or almost any other fad you could name, but it pretty much fits those two rules, so it probably works fine for a lot of people, I just think all of the extra BS is more performative than anything else.
