Great that you are looking at ways to improve your diet. The only thing I'd suggest is to ensure that your dietician is actively and continually improving their own knowledge base. Dietary recommendations are changing at a rapid pace and what was a good diet 10 years ago is very different from what research is indicating is good diet now. And will likely continue to change with future research.

Yeah and it's really interesting to me, in that sense. I've done a fair amount of my own reading and research, so I have some idea on these things. For lack of a better explanation though, I didn't want to turn this thread into a "Keto is amazing" or "Keto is so dumb" kind of discussion (I'm not seeing this person to get into keto, purely an example).
