That all said for the life of me I can't see why most white collar workers would be pushing so hard against ever going into the office. The natural reaction is to accelerate automation and offshore more white collar work. In the long run I hope the people clamoring and making it difficult to go back to the office have a retirement plan they plan to enact before the decade closes out, because their job won't be done for Calgary salaries or even in Calgary much longer.

Just my opinion but I don’t think companies had previously been avoiding outsourcing jobs out of benevolence.
