so again, I get being cynical. But the volume of allegations is pretty crazy. And Juventus have been severely punished too.

And the other consideration is that the PL awards money depending on where you finish, so these guys cheated and essentially defrauded all of these other businesses of millions of dollars. I get the obvious places to view are the runners up, but what if you finished 5th and it otherwise would've been 4th? That's an enormous amount of money that your club lost because of the fraud they've committed. I can't see that being well received by the league.
