I am jealous that your girl is at the beginning of her rugby journey.
You can down load the World Rugby App, it goes over the laws really well. BTW, they are Laws, not rules.
It is a sport that makes no concessions for women playing the sport. All Laws in Men’s are the same as Women’s.
Rugby is a CIS sport for Women. Scholarships at Canadian schools are available.
She will get hurt, every game. It doesn’t mean she will get injured every game.
Hurt and injured are different.
The official will not stop play for a minor injury, the play should continue around D the player(not something I agree with all the time)
She is joining an international brotherhood/sisterhood that immediately allows her a group of friends anywhere in the world, even if they have never met before.
I love the sport. I miss playing it every day, it my body would allow me I would still play.
Game play at its base is simple, run forward, pass backwards. If hue/she has the ball hit them.
You can unpack the tactical parts for the game about 100 beers.
Also, there are two versions Rugby mainly played in Canada:
7’s - 7 player a side on a full side field, 7 min half
15’s - 15 players a side, 40 min half
