Or would it be better to have something like that professionally installed? Seems easy enough but maybe sticking things to concrete isn't that simple?
I bought that exact kit several years ago.

It seems to have made the scenario better, I have a garage the barely above the alley , so all of the snow outside creates a dam when its packed down. This kit seems to hold the water outside a bit better. No issues with quality either - nothing has come loose, is falling apart, etc.
