I played with a guy a couple times that had that at my course last year, he paid $45 instead of $65. So using that (maybe it's more savings at other places), he'd pay his membership back after 30 rounds before starting to capture savings from being a member?

If that's the case, it seems that you'd just throw a bunch of twilight rounds in between April and July/early August and come out waaaaay ahead? And even if not, without a membership I'd probably play 40ish rounds, maybe 50 tops, seems like a huge price and pressure to be out all the time saving money.

Is it at least a membership that gets you to most of Calgary area courses?
