People who don't wave after you let them into your lane. I hate that--and nobody does it here. It makes me a very angry driver.

Yuppers on both counts.
Regarding papers, I am not perfect either.....but wow. Just wow. I mark undergrad papers, and I believe to be in this program people already have to have a degree (pretty sure), or at the very least, they already have at least 2-3 years of post-secondary education. But that does not stop them from:
-not using spell check, like you stated;
-mixing up words like their/there, were/where etc on a continual basis;
-routinely thinking that a paragraph can be one sentence (we are talking multiple, multiple times in an essay);
-Thinking that it is ok to have one sentence be 1/2 a page in length - I mean, as long as you have thrown in some commas and semi-colons randomly for good measure, you are fine!
-people who think, despite being warned not to use it, that wikipedia is a scholary resource;
-people who cite literally every sentence;
-people who use "big words" just because, well they think they can;
-people who...well I have absolutely no idea what they are trying to say?
Ok, I'll stop now. Like I said I am not perfect either....but at least I know what a period is for instance (not me, but a colleague last year had someone write multiple paragraphs in a paper with absolutely no periods/commas/etc in them).
And as for people not waving - it takes 2 seconds! Yeesh.
(and people who will point out grammar mistakes in my post

Ha, so there!)
